A Whole New World to Social Commerce
Howl emerges as a novel marketplace tailored to cater to the needs of content creators and brands who yearn for open and genuine collaboration. Despite sharing a common objective, their partnership has historically been fraught with challenges. Howl’s suite of tools simplifies the process of the two parties working together, with consistency and transparency.
As design partners, we had a unique opportunity in designing at the intersection of product and brand by building systems and experiences that are rooted in transparency for creators and brands who crave collaboration.
From Old to New
The very first expression of the Howl brand comes from its marketing collateral. The objective was to seamlessly migrate from their previous brand to their fresh brand system. We actively collaborated with the brand experience and marketing team to explore and expand on their new brand system across various touch points from their website, social posts, email, and tangible products.
At the core of Howl's philosophy lies "Nerdjoy" – the celebration of unabashedly sharing one's passions. Howl is a marketplace designed for creators and brands who crave more collaborative tools. Our collaboration with Howl's marketing team not only deepened our understanding of Nerdjoy but also enabled us to infuse our own enthusiasm into their product team. We led the development of their Brand/Retailer experience and Chrome Extension, working hand-in-hand with their in-house design experts and engineers. Our journey encompassed the entire spectrum, from initial ideation to thoughtful UX/UI design, culminating in a comprehensive hand-off supported by detailed documentation.
